Psalm 23
Shalom!
This
Morning we had Psalm 23 for morning service scripture. The Lord is my Shepherd as he was the Shepherd to David, the writer of the psalm, and the Israelites in the wilderness heading to Canaan, the Promised Land. We lack nothing, because he cares. Even though we pass through the valley of the shadow of death, we fear no evil, because God is with us. We believe in the Lord who is with is these days as we pass through the valley of shadow id death!
Yes, he anoints us of our heads with the oil, and it overflows of our cup! This means he appoints the mission as Christians to be the salt and the light for the world. And God gives enough power to fo the mission!
And the goodness and never-ending love will follow us all the days.
And we will dwell in the house of the lord forever. Amen! Wherever God is with us, it is the house of God! Amen!
