하나님께 가까이 함이 내게 복이라(시편73:28)

Doctor should know an accurate medical treatment for their patients otherwise they can’t diagnoses and treats them well. Basketball players must learn all of rules and how to play first for their games to win.

Like the same sense, if we say we are Christian it is very essential that we should know who God is because we can have a true victory in this world only through the Lord our God, the word of God.

Who is God?

Our God is infinity. It means there is no limitation for Him. He created everything that we know or we didn’t know yet, so God can’t be subjected to restriction by His creations.

“For by him all things were created： things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him” (Col 1:16)

Some people are known as a wise man and received a word of praise and righteousness. Yes, we can be a good man, be a wise man, and have loving hearts for others but our goodness, wisdom, or love are cannot be endless or unlimited. The reason is simple because men are limited.

However our God is unlimited and infinity for everything and anything. Because of this truth our pride and joy is nothing, but the knowledge that we know who God is could be a true worthiness and a real pride for us. This is the reason why we were called as Christian and the only one way we can be a true victor in this world.

의사는 의술을 알아야 합니다. 의술을 알지 못하면 병자를 진단하거나 치료 할 수 없습니다. 농구선수는 농구 룰을 알아야 하고 어떻게 하면 경기에서 승리 할 줄 알아야 합니다. 그리스도인이라면 우리가 믿고 따르는 하나님이 누구인지 알아야 합니다. 그리고 말씀을 통해 어떻게 이 세상 가운데 승리할 수 있는지 알아야 합니다.

하나님은 어떤 분이신가요?

하나님께서는 무한하십니다. 무한이라는 말은 한계가 없다는 말입니다. 하나님은 하늘과 땅의 보이는 것들과 보이지 않는 것들을 다 창조 하셨습니다.(골1:16)

그렇기 때문에 하나님께서 창조하신 것에 제한 받으시지 않으십니다.

사람은 때론 의롭다고 칭함을 받기도 합니다. 선한 모습을 가지기도 합니다. 지혜롭게 행동할 때가 있습니다. 그리고 서로 사랑하기도 합니다. 그러나 인간의 의로움 선함 지혜 사랑은 무한하지 않습니다. 지극히 제한적입니다.

하지만 하나님은 이 모든 것에 무한 하십니다. 그렇기 때문에 사람은 나의 것을 자랑하지 말고 하나님을 아는 것 그리고 하나님의 무한하심을 자랑해야 합니다. 이것이 우리가 할 일이고 세상을 이기는 방법입니다.
