John 8:12-20 “The Light of the World”
Jesus
is the light of the world. We can be separated from darkness and come to the
light of life when we follow Jesus. In this world, there is nothing greater
than Jesus or true light of life. By grace of God and following Him, we are
living our life in the light of life.
Pharisees
judged Jesus in human standard. They didn’t believe the witness that “Father
sent Jesus. They didn’t know where Jesus came from.
However,
through the word of God we know where Jesus came from and the truth that He is
the only true light of life. Men who read and meditate God’s words will know
who Jesus is. It is blessing that we be able to live our life in the light of
world, in God.
예수님은 세상의 빛입니다. 우리는 예수님을 따름으로 어둠에서 벗어나 생명의 빛으로 들어갈 수 있게 됩니다. 이 세상에서 예수님 보다 귀한 것은 없고 또한 진정한 생명의 빛을 발견할 수 없습니다. 감사하게도 우리는 모두 예수님을 따름으로 생명의 빛 가운데 살고 있습니다.
바리새인들은 인간의 가치관으로 예수님을 판단했습니다. 그들은 예수님께서 하나님으로부터 보내심을 받았다는 증거를 믿지 못했고 예수님께서 어디서 오셨는지 알지 못했습니다.
그러나 우리는 예수님께서 어디에서 오셨는지
그리고 예수님이 진정한 생명의 빛이라는 것을 말씀을 통해 알고 있습니다.
말씀을 읽고 묵상하는 사람은 예수님을 알 수
있습니다. 우리가 이와 같은 사람이 되어서 날마다 말씀을 통해 예수님을 삶을 살게 되기를 기도합니다.
