11:1-16 "Lazarus"
When
Jesus had arrived at Bethany, Nazarus was dead already and he was in the tomb.
Jesus
said to Martha to take away the stone of tomb but she doubted about what Jesus
has told her. The reason is a bad odor was there in the tomb by that time because
Nazarus has been there for four days.
Once people
dead we have to leave them even if they were our family members or close
friends because they must be apart from living things.
But
think about ourselves, once we were in the middle of death because of our sin,
so that no one could have possibly come to us, but Jesus our Savior came to us
and gave us a new life just like He did to Nazarus. It is blessings and amazing
thing that we could have an eternal life, but should remember that it could be
only possible through Jesus Christ who defeated the authority of death.
예수님이 베다니에 도착했을 때 나사로는 이미
죽고 무덤에 있었습니다.
예수님께서 무덤을 열라고 하시자 마르다는 예수님을
말렸습니다.
왜냐하면 나사로는 이미 무덤에 속에 4일이나
있었기 때문에 그의 몸은 이미 썩어서 냄새가 났기 때문입니다. 아무리 사랑하는 사람이라도 죽게 되면
같이 있을 수 없습니다. 반드시 살아있는 사람과 떨어져야 합니다.
우리는 사실 죄를 범한 이후 죽음 가운데 있었습니다. 그 누구도 죽은 우리들에게 올 수 없었습니다. 그러나 예수님께서는
죽어 냄새가 나는 나사로를 찾아 가시고 그에게 새로운 생명을 주신 것처럼 우리들에게 찾아 오시고 새 생명을 주셨습니다.
우리는 오직 예수님을 통해 죽음의 권세를 이기고
영원한 생명을 얻을 수 있습니다.
