John 12:12-16 "The King"
Jesus who
entered Jerusalem was a different king than people expected.
People
wanted a king who is noble and strong but Jesus Christ who rode on a colt was a
humble and a king who set himself down.
People
asked Jesus for their own desires but He gave them what they need in God.
Jesus
had a different plan than theirs.
This
week is the Holy Week. During this week we need to keep praying and meditating
the passion and the devotion of Jesus Christ that He’s done for us. And our
prayer must be followed by our concession that we are sinners and the time of
spiritual anguish to come closer to God, but we shouldn’t pray for making
ourselves to be shown as a holy. The reason is there is only one way that we
can be holy is when we confess our sin and think about the suffering of Jesus
Christ.
예루살렘에 입성 하신 예수님은 사람들이 기대하던
왕과 다른 왕이었습니다.
사람들은 강하고 높은 왕을 원했지만 어린 나귀를
타신 예수님은 낮고 겸손한 왕이었습니다.
사람들은 자신들이 원하는 것을 예수님께 요구했지만
예수님께서는 그들이 필요한 것을 주셨습니다. 예수님은 그들과는 다른 계획을 가지고 있었습니다.
고난 주간입니다. 예수님께서 우리 때문에 당하신 고난과 우리를 위해 행하신 일을 묵상하고 기도하는 기간입니다. 우리의 기도는 거룩하게 보이기 위한 것이 아니라 우리가 죄인임을 고백하며 하나님을 찾는 것이 되어야 하겠습니다. 예수님의 고난을 묵상하며 우리의 죄를 고백했을 때 우리는 거룩해 질 수 있습니다.
