John 19:28-30
"Completed"
Jesus said, “It is finished” and died on
the cross. The meaning of “It is finished” is Jesus paid off all of our sins
through His sacrifice, the Crucifixion, so that we could be a free man from
sins. Jesus had fulfilled his mission by obedience of the Word.
We also have many things in our reality
that we have to finish and complete in the period of certain time, but it is
almost impossible that we can be able to say it is completely finished. The
reason is even if we did finish it for one matter, but there must be always
another due coming up for another subject and case. Then how or when can we
say, “It is finished” like Jesus did? We may speak “it is finished” for our
mission when it was finished only by an obedience of God’s word. For only those
who are following the Word of God could be able to experience a complete
fulfillment and have perfect peace and free.
예수님께서 “다 이루었다” 하시고
십자가 위에서 돌아가셨습니다. “다 이루었다”의 뜻은 모든
빚을 갚았다는 것을 의미합니다. 예수님의 희생으로 우리에게 남은 채무가 전혀 없어졌고 우리는 자유로운
상태가 된 것입니다. 예수님께서는 이 모든 것을 말씀에 순종하시므로 완료하셨습니다.
우리는 삶을 살아가면서 완료하고 마쳐야 하는 일들이 많이 있습니다. 그러나
우리는 이 모든 일들을 완벽하게 끝내거나 완료할 수 없습니다.
그러나 우리가 예수님처럼 말씀에 순종하고 따랐을 때 “다 이루었다” 라고 고백할 수 있게 되고 주어진 일들을 완료 할 수 있게 됩니다. 오직 말씀을 따르는 자만이 완전한 성취를 경험하고 완전한 자유를 누릴
수 있습니다.
