D. Min. – BP Cohort Track in WMU 

월드미션대학교 목회학 박사 프로그램 – 성경과 설교 코호트 과정 

1. Goal: DMin-BP Cohort Track is to train and equip ministers to be able to preach a sermon to the audience firmly based upon the depth of the understanding of the Biblical theology and the exegetical work of the text.

1. 목표: 성경과 설교 코호트 과정은 사역자들이 성경이해에 대한 깊이를 가지고 철저히 성경의 신학을 이해하고 성실한 본문 주해 작업에 근거한 설교를 할 수 있도록 훈련시키고 준비시킨다.

2. Curriculum: Equivalent to all other tracks of DMin of WMU, DMin-BP Cohort Track requires a total of 34 units – 28 units of coursework and 6 units of Project (DMin Dissertation). The following is the list and contents of the courses offered.

2. 커리큘럼: 성경과 설교 코호트 과정은 WMU의 모든 DMin 과정과 마찬가지로 총 34학점을 이수해야 한다. 이중 28학점은 커리큘럼에 있는 강의를 수강함으로, 6학점은 논문 작성으로 충당한다. 진행은 다음과 같다.

First Year – 16 units

첫 번째 해 -16 학점 

• First Semester (1.1) – 8 units (Hermeneutics/Exegesis, Synoptic Gospels)
• 1 학기 (1.1) – 8 학점 (성서해석학/주석방법론, 공관복음서)

• Biblical Hermeneutics and Exegesis Methodology (4 units)
• 성서해석학과 주석방법론 (4 학점)

• The students will learn about the academic theory and methodology of Biblical Interpretation and exegesis of the text to be prepared to prepare a Biblical sermon.
• They will first find the text of its original meaning written in the original context, and then prepare a message relevant to their audiences currently living in certain specific contexts.

• 학생들은 이 과목을 통해 성서를 해석하는 이론과 방법론, 그리고 성서의 본문을 주해하는 방법을 배우게 될 것이다. 이를 통해 그들은 먼저 성서 본문이 쓰여진 본래의 상황 속에서 주어진 메시지의 의미를 파악하고, 다음 단계로 성서 본문 메시지가 그 본래의 의미를 잃지 않은 채 자신의 청중들이 현재 처한 상황과 삶의 정황 속에서 어떻게 적절하게 연관되고 적용될 수 있는지를 파악하여 주해설교를 작성하는 방법론을 배우게 될 것이다.

• Theological Understanding and the Exegetical Preaching of the Synoptic Gospels (4 units)
• 공관복음서의 신학적 이해와 주해설교 작성 (4학점)

• The students are to learn the historical background and main purpose of the writings, the unique structure and theology of each text of the Synoptic Gospels. Then they will be trained to delve into the texts to do the exegetical work and finally form a Biblical sermon from the passages of their choice from the Synoptic Gospels.

• 공관복음서는 초대교회 신앙과 신학을 뒷받침한 최초의 복음서들로서 공통적인 자료와 관점을 기반으로 기록되었다고 여겨지는 마가복음, 마태복음, 누가복음을 일컫는 단어이다. 학생들은 그 기록의 목적, 역사적 배경, 특별히 염두에 둔 대상, 각각의 독특한 문학적 기록 방식과 신학을 연구하게 될 것이며, 이러한 이해를 바탕으로, 각각 자신이 선택한 본문을 가지고 주해 설교를 작성하는 훈련을 받게 될 것이다.

• Second Semester (1.2) – 8 units (Torah, Johannine Literature)
• 2 학기 (1.2) – 8 학점 (모세오경, 요한문서)

• Theological Understanding and the Exegetical Preaching of Torah (4 units)
• 모세오경의 신학적 이해와 주해설교 작성 (4 학점)
• 
  
• Torah is the first placed and the most critical foundation of the rest of the Books of the Old Testament. The students are to learn about the historical background, the main purpose of the writing, the author’s unique style and structure and theology of Torah. Then they will be trained to delve into the texts by themselves to do the exegetical work and finally form a Biblical sermon from the passages of their choice from Torah.
• 모세오경은 성경의 맨 앞에 위치해 있고 구약과 신약의 모든 다른 책을 이해하기 위한 가장 중요한 근간이 되는 책이다. 이 수업을 통해 먼저 학생들은 모세오경의 기록 목적과 구조를 파악하며, 중요한 신학적 주제들을 발견하게 될 것이다. 또한 이러한 이해를 바탕으로, 학생들이 모세오경 중 한 본문을 택하고 직접 그 본문을 주해하는 작업을 통해 설교를 작성해 내는 방법을 훈련받게 될 것이다.

• Theological Understanding and Exegetical Preaching of the Johannine Literature – the Fourth Gospel, Johannine Epistles, Revelation (4 units)
• 요한 문서의 신학적 이해와 주해설교 작성 (4학점)
•  
• The Johannine Literature - The Fourth Gospel, the three Johannine Epistles and Revelation – shows its own unique literary and theological distinctiveness in various genres, which aren’t found in the Synoptic Gospels or any other Epistles in the New Testament. The students will study them and delve into the text to form an exegetical sermon from their choice of the texts.

• 요한 문서는 요한복음, 요한1서, 요한 2서, 요한 3서, 요한계시록을 포함한다. 이는 모두 사도요한이라는 저자의 매우 독특한 저술 방식과 문체, 그리고 매우 심도있는 신학을 담고 있다. 제 4 복음서로서, 서신서로서, 그리고 묵시록으로서 다양한 쟝르를 포함하고 있기도 하다. 학생들은 이러한 요한 문서의 특징을 배운 후, 각각 선택한 본문을 가지고 주해 설교를 준비하는 방법을 훈련 받게 될 것이다.

• The students are to learn about the main purpose of the writings in each historical context and the author’s unique style and theology shown in each of the Book of Prophets. Then they will be trained to delve into the texts to do the exegetical work and finally form a Biblical sermon from the passages of their choice from the Book of Prophets.

• 학생들은 정경으로서의 예언서의 특징을 배우며, 또한 각각의 예언서가 쓰여진 역사적 배경과 각 저자들의 독특한 신학과 예언 전달방식의 특징을 연구한 후, 자신이 선택한 본문을 가지고 주해 작업을 통해 설교를 작성하는 방법을 훈련한다.

• Theological Understanding and Exegetical Preaching of the Pauline Epistles (4 units)
• 바울 서신의 신학적  이해와 주해설교 작성 (4 학점)

• Pauline Epistles, together with the Gospels, constituted the most critical foundation of the Early Church, both in its doctrine and practicality. The students are to study the formation of the Pauline Theology (Soteriology and Eschatology) and its influence on the first Christianity. Then they will delve into the texts to do the exegetical work and finally form a Biblical sermon from the passages of their choice from Pauline Epistles.

• 바울 서신은 복음서들과 더불어 초대교회의 신학과 신앙생활의 기초를 형성한 매우 중대한 가치가 있는 정경적 문헌이다. 학생들은 사도행전과 바울 서신 분석을 통해 바울 신학의 형성 과정과 내용, 특히 그의 구원론과 종말론을 심도 있게 연구한 후, 한 본문을 선택하여 주해 설교를 작성하는 법을 훈련받게 될 것이다.

• 시편의 신학적 이해와 주해설교 작성 (4학점) 
•  
• The Book of Psalms is one the most important and representative writings among Ketuvim. As a poetry, its literary, liturgical, canonical and prophetic distinctiveness and unique theology will be studied in depth. Then the students will delve into the texts to do exegetical work and finally form a Biblical sermon from the passages of their choice from the Book of Psalms.
• 시편은 성문서로 분류되는 구약성서 중 가장 중요하고 대표적인 책이다. 시가서로서 시편은 매우 깊고 풍부한 문학적 가치를 가지며, 예배적이며 동시에 예언적인 특징을  가진 매우 신학적인 책이다. 학생들은 이러한 시편의 다양한 가치를 이해하며 그 경전적이고 문학적이고 예배적인 특성을 모두 담아 시편의 본문을 가지고 주해 설교를 작성하는 훈련을 받게 될 것이다.
