Daniel Kim is currently a seminarian in LA, who had a question on interpretation of Exodus 3:14: I am that I am. The following is an answer to him.

Thank you for the article. What I like is that of DN
Freedmann that the divine name YHWH represented as "Creator God." In my
book SPR (2012), I proposed the dynamics between the Creation and the
Exodus; YHWH was revealed both the Creator (God of Creation) and the
Savior (God of Exodus). In the context of Exodus 3-4 where YHWH called
Moses for the Exodus, God revealed himself as the Creator; the Exodus
will be made by God as "the second Creation." The Creation and the
Exodus are the two major themes in the Bible and the relationship of the
two are dynamics. May God richly bless you in studying the Word. Pastor
